RFBI kicks off the 2025 Leadership Roadshow at RFBI Concord Community Village
21 Feb 2025
The 2025 Leadership Roadshow kicked off at RFBI Concord Community Village, bringing together residents, staff and the leadership team for a productive day of discussion and feedback. As part of our ongoing commitment to improving care and services, the Leadership Roadshow offers a platform for staff, residents, families and clients to voice their opinions and contribute to the development of our communities.
At our village in Concord, 12 residents and 22 staff members joined in the conversations, where residents highlighted the importance of the dining experience. The Leadership Team engaged with them to explore ways to enhance evening meals, ensuring that mealtime remains a fulfilling part of their daily routines.
Residents also expressed their appreciation for the staff’s engagement and dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere within the Village. These positive interactions reflect the strong sense of community fostered at our village.
During the staff session, Toni Giles, who is now the Regional General Manager (RGM) for the village after Sanjila Verma, former RGM transitioned to the role of Chief of Operations (COO), introduced herself and discussed her role within the Village. She thanked the team for their warm welcome and spoke about the exciting opportunities ahead. Staff were also briefed on the impact of Care Minutes on staffing shifts and updated on the recent Fair Work Commission pay rise for aged care workers.
The Roadshow will now move to RFBI Hawkins Masonic Village, where we will continue the important conversations that ensure RFBI remains a leader in providing high-quality care and service. Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their valuable feedback!
