The original nine-bed accommodation for residential care was officially opened by the Rt. Wor. Bro Frank M Jeffree OAM, PDG&M, in 1991. Four years later, residential care was extended by a further 9 beds.
In 2001 a further 20 units were added and the village hall was extended to cater for the increase in residents. Late 2002 saw the completion of a new 60-bed residential care village. This was officially opened in 2003 by the Honourable Julie Bishop, then Minister for Ageing.
