Your new home at RFBI Lake Haven Masonic Village is just an hour and a half drive north of Sydney, in a lakeside suburb of Wyong on the beautiful, peaceful NSW Central Coast — a region famous for its many scenic views and welcoming atmosphere.
The village's location offers an unrivalled combination of a serene lifestyle while still close to necessary amenities. It is only 3km from the town's shopping centre and Tuggerah is conveniently close. Wyong Hospital is 6km away. Public transport comes into the village; and our community bus is also available to take you on shopping trips and excursions.

RFBI Lake Haven Masonic Village has 43 residential care beds in Frank. M. Jeffree house and 22 beds in Stapleton House, our specialised memory support unit for those living with dementia. We also have a Nurse Practitioner and an Occupational Therapist on site.
Our village is air conditioned and has modern, home-like furnishings. There are common areas for socialising as well as smaller sitting areas for relaxing and catching up. Our residents are also fond of our village cat, dog and chickens. Staff are also available to escort our residents on special outings. The Men’s Shed is also a popular hangout.
Meals are cooked fresh on site and served in the spacious dining rooms. Laundry is carried out on site for speed and quality.
Our residential care village also offer state-of-the-art nurse call and resident monitoring systems to ensure your safety and security — especially important if an emergency should arise.

The government will use your means assessment to determine what you will pay for your accommodation. If the government identifies that you require financial support, they will determine what, if any contribution you are required to make towards your accommodation costs. If you are not supported, you will be required to pay the published room price. There are a number of ways in which you may choose to pay for your accommodation:
- As a lump sum, called a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD)
- A daily payment, called a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) (indexed twice per year) or
- Combination of refundable deposit and daily payment
- Part lump sum with the daily payment drawn down from the lump sum paid
The same payment options are available to supported residents in how they pay for their accommodation contribution.
Daily Accommodation Payments are indexed twice per year in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and an annual retention amount of 2% will be deducted from refundable deposits (RAD/RAC) for up to 5 years.
Higher Everyday Living Fee (HELF)
Residents may agree to enter into a Higher Everyday Living Agreement. The Higher Everyday Living options available at your RFBI Village will be provided to you on entry. You can take up HELF services at any time during your stay and have an option to cancel when the agreement is renewed each year.

History
RFBI Masonic Village at Lake Haven is made up of the Frank M. Jeffree Hostel, Stapleton House and the Lake Haven Independent Living Village.
The Frank M. Jeffree residential care hostel was built across three years from 1988 and completed in 1991. Stapleton House, our dementia-specific unit, opened in 1998 and the retirement living village was completed in seven stages, the last in 1996.
