State of the art living in NSW heartland
RFBI Dubbo Masonic Village is located on the outskirts of Dubbo, a dynamic, regional city in the centre of New South Wales, with a rich pastoral history. The village is conveniently located at 2A Capstan Drive, which is close to the corner of Sheraton Road and Mitchell Highway.
Dubbo has a thriving arts scene, regional theatre and convention centre, three bowling clubs and numerous social clubs. For those who prefer fewer activities, there are many quiet spots and enclosed courtyards around the village where you can simply relax and enjoy the scenery.
You will be looked after in a loving and caring environment where compassionate care and attention to your needs are our number one priority. Round-the-clock care and the latest technology support our care services. Specialist programs are also available — such as massage and podiatry.
Our many programs and services ensure there is something to appeal to all interests; we encourage you to continue your hobbies or try something new. Typical activities include bowls, painting, pottery, outings - to name just a few. Above all, we want you to feel perfectly at home here, whether you prefer to be busy or just take it easy.
RFBI is committed to making our villages as much like home as possible so we have launched a Program that enables loved pets to join residents in their new home. Our pet friendly rooms provide secure, accessible outdoor space for a pet and include an extractor fan and automatic air freshener for additional in room comfort. However, to ensure that every resident is comfortable with those they share their home with we must confirm a pets suitability to live in a community care environment. Any pet being considered must undertake and pass a behavioural assessment, be desexed, and be up to date with immunizations, worming & flea/ tick treatments. At the Village, you will also enjoy high quality meals and snacks, prepared by our on-site chefs. You're also welcome to join us for happy hour drinks to catch up with friends and family. Visitors are always welcome, including visit from the four-legged furry friends variety!

RFBI Dubbo Masonic Village is our brand new 70-bed residential aged care village which opened in May 2017. The village includes a memory support unit for those living with dementia.
Our spacious rooms, complete with private en-suites, have either direct access to beautiful planted courtyards or picture windows overlooking our expansive landscape. Each room has a flat-screen TV, phone, Wi-Fi and specialised nurse call system. Rooms are tastefully furnished and we encourage you to bring some personal items to make you feel right at home.
There are many living spaces throughout the village for you to enjoy on your own or with others. On-site services include a hair and beauty salon, health and wellness room, spa room, café, cinema room, large feature lounge area with a fireplace, a library and internet nook.
We also organise art and music programs, held in our large multipurpose activity room. For special occasions, our on-site community hall can also host larger events.
Outside amenities include secure social spaces to share with friends and family. Our Village Green provides an alfresco dining and BBQ area; our café and children’s play area is a great spot for a catch-up. You can also try your hand at croquet, bowling or have a putt on the putting green.
As with all RFBI Masonic Villages, an on-site state-of-the-art kitchen and professional catering team will provide fresh and tasty meals.

As of the 1st July 2014, new residents have greater choice on how to pay for their accommodation costs. These choices include;
- Residents can choose to pay for accommodation by a refundable deposit (RAD) paid as a lump sum,
- A daily payment (DAP), or
- A combination of both
A daily accommodation payment accrues daily and is paid periodically (e.g. fortnightly). A combination payment includes both a partial lump sum and daily.
As RFBI offers a variety of accommodation options and prices we encourage you and your family to discuss your needs with a financial adviser to ensure that you are receiving the best financial outcome available to you.
Our published Accommodation Payment prices are our maximum rates and will apply for those with adequate financial means. Residents with limited assets may be eligible for support by the Government.
This means that you will not be required to pay the published Accommodation Payment. If you are not supported, but affordability is still a factor, be assured this will not necessarily affect your eligibility for accommodation.
The Room Prices (RAD) and Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) amounts quoted above are current as of today and may change (in line with interest rate adjustments) for entry dates after the 1st July. When there are changes to the interest rate, RFBI will update the new DAP based on the new quarterly interest rate.
Additional services (ie not including the accommodation price for the room) associated with the room
At this Village we are pleased offer an Additional Services Package at a cost of $14 per day that is payable by all non-supported residents. This includes a 43″ Smart TV, unlimited WiFi internet access, themed village events, wine or beer/soft drinks with lunch, weekly family happy hour and local entertainers. More details are available at the village. Other services that you can access at additional cost include hairdressing, café/kiosk purchases, telephone connection and line rental and Foxtel connection.

History
RFBI has been a proud member of the Dubbo community for over 30 years, providing retirement living at our nearby Darby Close location, and we are delighted to be providing residential care in our newest village, opened in May 2017. We are also pleased to be expand our services to include home care for the district.
