Benevolence and

A history of helping those in need.

In our organisation’s early years, when there were no social security payments, benevolent institutions like RFBI provided a vital service. In the 141 years since, we have provided help to many thousands of people. Today our purpose continues as a support for those who need a little extra help.

How we help today.

We provide assistance in a variety of ways, from research grants, donations to organisations for specific equipment and to individuals in the form of regular annuities to assist with living expenses.

Recent examples of help include special grants to children with disabilities, whose families are in financial difficulty. We provide wheelchairs and other essential equipment to make the children’s lives more rewarding and ease the strain on their families.

Every request for assistance is considered on its own merits. If you, or someone you know, needs some help, please contact our office on 1800 181 959 to discuss how we may be able to help.
