Welcoming new Global Citizen Exchange Program (GCEP) nurses to Australia

Sonia Lim 3 Mar 2022

We are delighted to welcome Binu, Bimala, Neha and Manju, our latest Global Citizen Exchange Program (GCEP) overseas nurses to Australia.

RFBI has proudly partnered with Key 2 Learning College to be the first aged care provider involved in their Global Citizen Experience Program (GCEP). The program allows nurses from overseas to live in Australia, experience our culture and way of life and learn about our health care system (specifically in aged care).

For the next 12 months, these four new overseas nurses from Nepal will be paid to work as Carers and study their Cert III Individual Support at RFBI Benhome Masonic Village where they will gain valuable hands-on experience and be qualified for the Australian nursing registration.

We have already welcomed 3 overseas nurses to the program who are enjoying the experience and look forward to more in the coming months. To find out more about our program, visit https://rfbi.com.au//news/global-citizen-experience-program-gcep/
