On 13 May, RFBI West Wyalong Masonic Village welcomed the Men’s Health Education Rural Van (MHERV) to the community with a full day of fun and good health. Helping us welcome MHERV was Brian Monaghan, Bland Shire Mayor, Ray Smith PSM, Bland Shire Council General Manager and Ray Vickers, RFBI Ambassador. Guests enjoyed a sausage sizzle and were entertained to live music.

Later that night, we had trivia presented by John Scascighini of Lodge Bland which brought lots of laughter for everyone.

MHERV is one of the important initiatives RFBI supports and provides funds to have a registered nurse travel with the van throughout NSW to provide free health checks. Since this program commenced in 2017, MHERV has visited over 100 communities and provided more than 10,000 free health checks.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to support this great initiative. If you would like to find out more about MHERV and how you can help keep this vital service on the road, visit https://rfbi.com.au//donate-to-help-a-mate/
