Welcoming a new chapter of care at Leeton

Sonia Lim 2 Mar 2026

RFBI Leeton Masonic Village is entering an exciting new phase of growth, marked by the appointment of a seasoned General Manager and an approved increase in resident capacity.

We are delighted to officially introduce Rebecca Burgess as our new General Manager. Rebecca joined the team in November, bringing with her more than 16 years of aged care leadership experience gained across both Queensland and New South Wales.

For Rebecca, the move to Leeton is a homecoming to the regional values she admires most.

“I am very excited to be back in a small town where the sense of community is so strong,” says Rebecca. “It’s a privilege to be part of each resident’s journey and to work alongside such a dedicated team.”

Anh Do, RFBI Regional General Manager – Central noted that Rebecca’s wealth of experience is a tremendous asset.

“Her passion for aged care and deep industry knowledge will benefit our residents, staff and the wider Leeton community,” says Anh.

In addition to new leadership, we are pleased to announce that following a legislative change, the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has approved the occupancy of four additional rooms.

This increases our total bed capacity from 46 to 50. While these rooms have always been part of the village’s footprint, this approval allows us to open our doors to more older Australians within the Leeton community who are seeking high-quality care and connection.

Congratulations to the entire Leeton team for achieving this important approval. With Rebecca at the helm and our capacity expanded, we look forward to continuing our mission of providing exceptional service and care.
