Wearing PJs for a good cause in Lake Haven
23 Aug 2021We’re all about creating a homely environment in our villages, so our residents can relax, feel comfortable and be who they want to be. Our staff at RFBI Lake Haven Masonic Village took that homely feel up a level by celebrating National Pyjama Day on Friday the 23rd of July. Staff wore their PJs to work and encouraged residents to wear their most comfortable oodie, dressing gown or favourite pair of pyjamas for the day.
The Leisure & Lifestyle and Catering teams held a special morning tea for all to enjoy, featuring hot chocolates with marshmallows and chocolate coated TV snacks that created a really warm, homely vibe.
Apart from having a lot of laughs and some fun in our PJs, together we raised funds and awareness to support the National Pyjama Foundation, which supports children in foster care.
Well done to everyone involved!
