RFBI Leeton Masonic Village residents have been treated to some special experiences thanks to the support of our community during NSW Seniors Festival this month.

We were thrilled to welcome back the Vintage and Veterans Car Club to the village, with its entourage of fabulously unique and classic cars. The club holds a special place in our village, as one of the residents, Bruce, was actually a founding member of the club. Residents had a wonderful time exploring the cars and taking a few pictures with their favourites.

To add to the delights of this special annual occasion celebrated nationwide, we were fortunate to welcome two amazing performers to the village. Residents had a fantastic time singing and dancing along to the ukulele tunes from Weevils in the Flour and the inspiring music from accomplished singer and song writer, Sharon Benjamin. One of the residents, Kevin, even jumped up with Sharon to play the harmonica. Sharon has become a familiar face in our village and often treats us to a performance, as she is daughter to one of our residents.

Thank you to Sharon, Weevils in the Flour and the Vintage and Veterans Car Club for making this year’s event so special.
