Residents love an opportunity to dress-up in their finest attire and wear a fun fascinator or fancy hat. They always look forward to events, like Melbourne Cup, when our teams come together to put on a special occasion for the village community. This year our RFBI Leeton Masonic Village and RFBI Coffs Harbour Masonic Village threw a special Melbourne Cup event and invited residents to dress up. They looked fabulous.

In Coffs Harbour, our Catering and Leisure & Lifestyle Teams dressed the dining room up in Melbourne Cup décor and created a delicious cocktail style afternoon tea for residents’ enjoyment. Platters of delicious food and glasses of champagne were circulated around the room before and during the event. We sold sweeps for the race and celebrated the lucky people who had their name on the winners.

It was a nice opportunity to stop, come together, and be part of the race that stops the nation. For more news from our villages, click here.
