The sounds of the festive season took on a beautiful, rhythmic tone at RFBI Tamworth Masonic Village recently, thanks to a very special visit from the Tamworth Fijians Uniting Church Choir.

The choir visited our village to perform a selection of Christmas carols, filling our community areas with powerful voices and heartwarming melodies. It was an afternoon that celebrated both the holiday season and the rich cultural diversity of the Tamworth community.

The impact of the performance was immediate. Residents didn’t just listen; they were active participants in the musical experience. Throughout the village, residents were seen happily singing along, tapping their feet and moving their hands to the beat of the music. The uplifting energy of the choir was infectious, bringing smiles to every face in the room.

While the music was spectacular, the highlight for many residents was the opportunity to meet and interact with the children in the choir. These intergenerational moments are incredibly precious, bringing a unique sense of joy and vitality to the village. The sight of  residents chatting with the younger members of the choir was a beautiful reminder of the power of community connection.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Tamworth Fijians Uniting Church Choir for their generous gift of their time and talents. Their visit created an incredibly memorable and uplifting experience that residents are still talking about.
