Tamworth artists shine in creative painting session

The communal lounge of RFBI Tamworth Masonic VIllage recently transformed into a vibrant art studio as residents gathered for a series of engaging painting activities.

The sessions were designed to provide more than just a creative outlet; they offered a therapeutic space where residents could focus on self-expression while enjoying the company of their peers.

Creative programs like painting offer ample benefits to residents beyond the beautiful, finished canvases. Participating in painting helps residents maintain and develop fine motor skills, encouraging hand-eye coordination and dexterity in a fun, low-pressure environment.

The atmosphere during the sessions was one of calm focus and relaxation. Our Leisure & Lifestyle team noted that every resident involved was fully engaged, taking the time to choose their colors and bring their unique visions to life. From bold abstracts to soft landscapes, the diversity of the artwork reflected the wonderful personalities of our resident community.

It’s wonderful to see how art can relax the mind and how creativity brings people together, boosting self-expression and confidence along the way.
