Take A Moment With… Kellie

RFBI provides the opportunity for our staff to pave their own careers. Many of our team members have worked with us for years and have progressed through roles as their skills evolve and to align with their goals.

Kellie is one of those success stories.

Kellie joined RFBI after being offered a role as Assistant In Nursing in our RFBI Kurri Kurri Masonic Village during her work placement.

Since then, Kellie has continued to be an invaluable member of the team and has grown her skills to now be our trusted Clinical Systems Trainer, based from RFBI Benhome Masonic Village in Maitland. Kellie oversees the organisation’s documentation software, including the education, upgrades, rolling out of changes and system issue management. Kellie’s role is diverse, with every day varying from educating staff and performing reports and audits to sharing treasured time with residents.

“I love how diverse the role is and the opportunity I have to think outside of the box. I get to travel to the other villages, meet staff and residents and provide education on the system, which is extremely rewarding,” Kellie shares.

For anyone considering a career with RFBI, Kellie says “Go for it!”
