Take a Moment with Katherine
28 Jan 2026
We are delighted to welcome Katherine to the leadership team at RFBI Goulburn Masonic Village as Care Manager. Having just started with us, Katherine will bring a wealth of clinical expertise and a deep-seated passion for person-centred care to our community.
Originally from the Philippines, Katherine’s nursing journey began in the fast-paced environment of medical and surgical wards. Since moving into the Australian aged care sector, she has built her career from the ground up, starting as a Care Assistant before progressing to a Registered Nurse.
Her most recent role as a Clinical Care Coordinator saw her providing vital oversight, mentoring staff and ensuring the highest standards of clinical compliance. This hands-on experience across every level of care gives Katherine a unique understanding of what it takes to support both her team and our residents effectively.
For Katherine, joining RFBI was a natural choice. “Through my experience, I have developed a strong passion for this field,” Katherine shares. “RFBI’s values and mission align perfectly with my own commitment to high-quality, person-centred care. I see this role as an incredible opportunity to apply my skills while continuing to grow alongside a dedicated team.”
Behind every great manager is a great support system. Katherine is a proud mum of three – one daughter and two sons – who she describes as her greatest source of strength and motivation.
When she isn’t at the village, you’ll likely find Katherine embracing her creative side. She enjoys crafting with her daughter and designing personalised fridge magnets!
As a family, the group loves nothing more than sharing a meal or hitting the road during school holidays. They are avid travellers who love exploring the diverse landscapes of Australia, making memories one local trip at a time.
Please join us in giving Katherine a warm Goulburn welcome when you see her around the village!
