SpringFest 2025 raises $5,000 to support people in need

SpringFest 2025 was a day to remember at RFBI West Wyalong Masonic Village, bringing our community together for a vibrant celebration of music, food and generosity — all in support of RFBI’s Benevolence Program and Annuity Scheme. Thanks to the incredible efforts of our staff, volunteers, sponsors and guests, the event raised an outstanding $5,000 to assist local people and communities in need.

Now in its third year, SpringFest has continued to grow in strength and spirit, with this year’s event hosted at the picturesque Regal Estate Winery. Funds were raised through ticket sales and an exciting raffle featuring a wide range of prizes, all generously donated by local businesses and supporters.

Our sincere thanks go to the many individuals and organisations who made the day possible. Blue and Maree Hethrington went above and beyond, donating a coach and driver to provide safe transport to and from the event. Border to Border Electrical not only supported the raffle with generous gift vouchers but also proudly sponsored our fantastic live music lineup, including crowd favourites Take It Easy Band and Anthony Hurry.

Guests enjoyed six hours of non-stop entertainment from Take It Easy Band, The Lucas Trio, and Anthony Hurry — whose lively performances had everyone singing along and tapping their feet. Between sets, guests relaxed with a beautifully presented grazing table, lovingly prepared by staff members Meaghan Whyte and Briana Hanrahan, followed by a hearty BBQ cooked by our dedicated volunteers Dennis Tierney and Harry Cross.

SpringFest 2025 was a true celebration of community spirit and the power of giving back. Every dollar raised will directly support RFBI’s Benevolence Program and Annuity Scheme, providing much-needed assistance to those experiencing hardship.

And the good news doesn’t stop there — we’re thrilled to announce that SpringFest 2026 is already locked in for Saturday, 26 September 2026. Be sure to save the date and join us again for another unforgettable day of fun and fundraising.
