On Thursday 18 September, RFBI Bathurst Masonic Village was filled with the wonderful aroma of a classic Aussie BBQ as residents, staff, families and local supporters came together for a sausage sizzle fundraiser in support of RFBI’s Benevolence Program.

RFBI has a long and proud history of providing support to those experiencing hardship, and the spirit of giving was truly alive at Bathurst. The event brought together people from all walks of life; some stayed to enjoy a meal and a chat, while others simply dropped by to donate and show their support. No matter how they contributed, each person helped make the day a special one.

Guests were treated to sausages hot off the grill, friendly conversations and a warm community atmosphere. Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, a fantastic $400 was raised; every cent of which will go directly towards helping people in need through RFBI’s Benevolence Program.

We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated team, volunteers and everyone who supported the event. Your contributions have made a real difference—one sausage at a time!
