We’ve introduced a new activity to keep residents in our RFBI Berry Masonic Village active and it has been welcomed with open arms.

Leisure & Lifestyle Officers have introduced a physical activity called sit dance, which essentially invites residents to dance along to music from a seated position. We put on some good music and give residents the options to dance solo or enjoy some of our fun dancing equipment, ranging from maracas to ribbons and colourful material.

The activity is a great way to get residents moving, to keep them active, and to create a space for some fun and self-expression. We find residents love to get creative, help choose the music and have a good laugh along to the activity.

What fun!
