RFBI Concord Community Village celebrated a huge success with its recent fundraiser, raising an impressive preliminary total of $1,139, with more funds expected to trickle in!

The event was a wonderful showcase of community spirit, combining fun, laughter and incredible generosity from residents, families, staff and local businesses.

The Village was buzzing with activity, offering something for everyone:

  • Stalls galore: residents and visitors enjoyed browsing a popular plant stall (generously stocked with donations from Bunnings), a bric-a-brac stall and a DVD stand.
  • Live entertainment: the atmosphere was electric, thanks to the village’s regular entertainer, Sam Pelligrino. His performance was a huge hit, inspiring residents, families and staff to get up and dance together.
  • Auction and raffle success: the lively auction was MC’d by RFBI Board Member, Judy Love and featured amazing donations, including four veggie trays donated by Select Fresh. In a heart-warming gesture, residents Peter and Ruth won two of the trays and immediately shared them with the dedicated staff. The raffle also saw great excitement, with two lucky staff members winning prizes, including hampers donated by EWH and Liz, our Lifestyle Coordinator.
  • BBQ delight: the perennial favourite, the BBQ, was made possible by the kind donation of sausage sizzle items from Andrews Meats.

RFBI Concord is sincerely grateful for the generosity of its residents’ families, whose support, donations and encouragement added so much warmth to the occasion. The funds raised will go towards enhancing programs and facilities for the residents.
