RFBI celebrates Aged Care Employee Day across all villages

Halls across RFBI communities were filled with heartfelt thanks, applause and sweet treats on Friday 7 August as residents and staff came together to celebrate Aged Care Employee Day.

Aged Care Employee Day is a special annual occasion dedicated to honouring the extraordinary individuals who care for older Australians every single day. From personal care workers and nurses to catering, maintenance, administrative and leisure and lifestyle teams, every staff member plays a vital role in creating a warm, supportive and reassuring environment for the residents.

Across our Residential Care Villages the day was marked with vibrant celebrations that brought residents and staff together in a spirit of shared appreciation.

The festivities included special recognition lunches, beautifully decorated cakes and custom gift bags handed out to staff as a token of gratitude for their hard work and commitment.

Residents eagerly joined in the festivities, making cards and sharing personal words of thanks with the team members who support them daily. The joyful atmosphere created plenty of shared smiles, fond memories and warm conversations across every village.

The celebrations highlighted the deep, family-like bonds that define life at RFBI, showcasing a team that goes above and beyond to bring dignity, comfort and happiness to the resident community every day.
