Monthly dining excursions are a cherished highlight at RFBI Lake Haven Masonic Village, offering residents and their families a wonderful opportunity to reconnect over great food in the local community.

Organised by the local Leisure & Lifestyle team, these regular outings encourage family members to join their loved ones for a meal at a local cafe, RSL or restaurant. For many families enjoying a familiar dining experience together would be difficult without the dedicated care and logistical support provided by our village staff.

The most recent excursion featured a delicious lunch followed by a sweet visit to a local gelateria, where English Toffee quickly emerged as the crowd-favourite flavour.

Adding to the celebration three extraordinary ladies attending the lunch outing were 100 years old! The inspiring trio spent the afternoon laughing, sharing stories with their families and thoroughly enjoying their gelato.

The team across the Residential Care Village feels deeply privileged to facilitate these meaningful outings, helping residents continue to live vibrant lives while creating cherished memories with the people they love most.
