At RFBI, we believe in creating meaningful experiences that bring joy and nostalgia to our residents’ lives. Recently, residents from RFBI Coffs Harbour Masonic Village had the pleasure of joining in on a sing-along session at our wellness centre, where they were transported back in time as they flipped through vinyl records and selected their favourite tunes to play.

The addition of a record player to our wellness centre was made possible through the generous donation from the family of one of our residents, Robert Armstrong. To complement this thoughtful gift, records from the personal collection of a former staff member, Kylie, were also donated. Though Kylie has moved on from our team over a year ago, her legacy lives on through the joy her donation brings to our residents.

As residents gathered around the record player, memories came flooding back as they listened to familiar melodies and sang along to beloved songs from years gone by.

These sing-along sessions not only provide entertainment but also serve as a reminder of the importance of preserving cherished memories and embracing the simple joys of life. At RFBI Coffs Harbour Masonic Village, we are dedicated to creating moments that enrich the lives of our residents and foster a sense of community and belonging.
