Creating events and activities for our residents to participate in is fantastic for their wellbeing and helps them to stay social and active.

Our Leisure & Lifestyle team are always on the lookout for ways to mark local holidays so our residents can enjoy the traditions they always have.

For Australia Day this year, our team put on a mix of Aussie themed events across our villages.

On Tuesday, our residents and staff celebrated a few Australian traditions together. From beach themed days to bush themed days, from sausage sizzles and lamingtons to fun games, like toss the thong, we all had a blast celebrating some Aussie traditions.

RFBI Basin View, Hawkins and Bathurst Masonic Villages were amongst many who held a celebration to recognise Australia Day.
