Who doesn’t love the tunes from the English rock band and most successful act of the 20th century, The Beatles! We have many residents who grew up surrounded by tunes from The Beatles as well as their popular memorabilia. So to remember the impact they made and their inspiring music, our Leisure & Lifestyle team at RFBI Goulburn Masonic Village decided to throw a Beatles Day!

Held on Global Beatles Day on 25 June, residents and staff alike were treated to a little bit of history and education around the band and its famous members, and sang along to many of the popular tunes that have left a mark on so many lives. We had a guest classical guitarist come to the village to bring their music to life during our afternoon social hour, and our residents loved humming along.

To mark the occasion, residents and staff jumped aboard the yellow submarine and even got on the bus for the Magical Mystery Tour, with a few photos taken to remember the day!

Both staff and residents agreed they’d be happy to listen to music from The Beatles – ‘any time at all’.
