Raising greater awareness for dementia27 Sep 2019
In support of Dementia Awareness Month, residents, their families and friends at RFBI Lake Haven Masonic Village were invited to come together as a community to raise greater awareness of dementia and get to know each other a little better.
Everyone had a lovely time chatting over a delicious cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate with delightful array of sweet and savoury treats made by our lovely Catering team. It was indeed a busy day at the Village’s Coffee Club.
September is Dementia Awareness Month, a campaign run by Dementia Australia. Dementia Awareness Month aims to encourage Australian’s to become aware of dementia and all its different forms and gain a greater understanding of what it’s like for someone living with dementia.
Our Villages across RFBI can help those living with dementia. For more information, visit our website at https://rfbi.com.au/ or contact us at 1800 181 959.
