Every year our residents, staff and villages take the opportunity to commemorate ANZAC Day in their own special ways. Some of our team members and residents have had loved ones serve in the war or have been involved themselves.

It is important to us that we recognise and honour those who fought for our freedom within our communities and nationally, so we took a moment to show our respect. Our team at RFBI Goulburn Masonic Village held a special service to acknowledge ANZAC Day, a tradition that we follow annually. Resident Mal Ritchie delivers the service each year, and we also welcomed Robin and Val forward who read poems to everyone to commemorate the occasion.

To complement the occasion, our Leisure & Lifestyle Officer, Jo decorated our village beautifully and prepared poppies for all to wear. Our Catering Team also baked some delicious Anzac biscuits that we all enjoyed for afternoon tea.
