Part of providing quality aged care means going beyond day-to-day care to providing strong and nurturing relationships that bring companionship to residents. We work hard to provide an environment where residents feel at home, valued and a sense of joy. Part of that is delivered through the activities we offer, the quality of food we serve, our facilities, and the relationships staff share with residents.

We recently captured a special moment between one of our Carers in our RFBI Cessnock Masonic Village, Chloe, and resident, Norma. The pair have created a special bond over a shared passion for flowers and floral arrangements. When Norma was younger, she was a well-regarded florist. Chloe is currently studying a floristry course and has taken every opportunity to learn from Norma.

Chlore has previously brought flowers in for Norma to arrange, something that Norma was extremely appreciative of.
