Music, culture and connection in Tamworth
30 Oct 2025
Residents in RFBI Tamworth Masonic Village were recently treated to an afternoon of live entertainment from Timor Leste, a talented group of young men from East Timor.
The performance was a beautiful blend of cultural music and much-loved English classics, creating an atmosphere full of energy, joy and connection. Residents were soon singing along to familiar tunes, tapping their feet, clapping in rhythm and even getting up to dance.
The combination of cultural rhythms and classic favourites brought smiles to everyone’s faces and filled the room with laughter, music and movement. It was a heartwarming reminder of the power of music to bring people together.
The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and residents are already looking forward to welcoming the group back for another memorable performance.
