One of our team’s greatest joys is bringing to life village resident’s past-times and hobbies in new and creative ways.

During a recent 1:1 visit with one of our RAO team members from RFBI Moonbi Masonic Village, resident Kelvin shared his desire to go fishing. However, Kelvin faces real anxiety when it comes to leaving his room. So the team worked to find a solution!

Together, they designed a fun fishing game that brought the experience of fishing into the village.

Kelvin not only enjoyed playing the game himself but regained his confidence to share with others, inviting other residents to try the game themselves. The activity quickly became a source of connection, fun and pride, demonstrating how even the simplest ideas can spark joy and engagement.

This activity is a wonderful reminder of the personalised approach our teams take every day. By tailoring experiences to each resident’s interests and needs, they create moments that nurture confidence, happiness, and community.
