The sun shone brightly over RFBI Benhome Masonic Village, setting the perfect backdrop for a day filled with warmth, compassion, and community spirit. Residents, staff and visitors recently gathered for a special fundraiser dedicated to the RFBI Benevolence Program.

For over a decade, the RFBI Benevolence Program has been a beacon of hope, providing over $13 million in support to services and causes which are having a positive impact on our communities. This remarkable initiative offers financial assistance, crucial medical equipment, and vital funding for research and health programs, touching countless lives.

The day kicked off with a delightful morning tea and a heartwarming raffle. Laughter and stories filled the air as attendees shared in the joy of giving back. Ray, a passionate advocate for benevolence, took the stage, eloquently sharing how this program has made a significant difference in the lives of many. His words resonated deeply with everyone present, reinforcing the importance of compassion and support within our community.

Following the morning festivities, the highlight of the day awaited – a charming petting zoo! Smiles lit up faces as residents and guests alike mingled with a delightful array of furry friends. From playful goats to gentle piglets, each animal brought a special kind of joy to the event. It was a testament to the power of simple, heartfelt connections.

The day was a resounding success, with everyone present fully engaged and captivated by the spirit of giving. Together, we raised an incredible $350 to further empower the RFBI Benevolence Program in its mission to offer a helping hand to those who need it most.
