Laughter, colour and dress-ups filled the air at RFBI Leeton Masonic Village during a fun silly song activity organised by Sharon recently. Residents were invited to embrace their playful side – dressing up in vibrant attire to try to match Sharon’s silliness.

Some residents opted for brightly coloured wigs and quirky glasses, while others adorned themselves with party toys like curly whistles and clapping hands. The room buzzed with excitement as everyone eagerly awaited the entertainment.

Sharon, the star of the show, brought boundless energy and enthusiasm as she performed a medley of silly songs. From classics like “The Chewing Gum Lost Its Flavour on the Bedpost Overnight” to lively tunes that had everyone tapping their feet, Sharon’s infectious spirit had residents singing, clapping, and laughing along.

Throughout the performance, Sharon added an extra element of fun by changing outfits, much to the delight of the audience. Residents joined in the festivities, blowing curly whistles and even taking to the dance floor to boogie along to the music.

The activity was a resounding success, leaving residents like Diana, Mavis, and Faye beaming with joy. Diana remarked on the colourful and bright atmosphere, which brought a smile to her face, while Mavis expressed her desire to do it all over again. For Faye, the event was simply “a lot of fun”, capturing the sentiment shared by all who attended.
