In RFBI Leeton Masonic Village, residents and staff recently embraced the spirit of the wild west during a lively and fun-filled Country and Western Week celebration. The village was transformed into a western oasis as everyone got into the theme and enjoyed a range of exciting activities.

The week kicked off with a fantastic Slim Dusty concert, where residents sang along to their favourite country tunes, tapping their feet to the rhythm. Laughter filled the air as a thrilling horseshoe game took place, showcasing the residents’ competitive spirit and camaraderie.

Adding to the festivities, residents and staff donned cowboy moustaches, capturing hilarious photos that brought smiles and laughter to everyone’s faces. A shooting gallery provided a chance for some friendly competition and showcased everyone’s sharpshooting skills.

To top it all off, the country and western week ended on a real high with a special visit from Erica, Taylor, and Hiccup – the horses. The excitement was palpable as residents had the opportunity to interact with these adorable visitors.

The Country and Western Week celebration in RFBI Leeton Masonic Village was a true testament to the vibrant spirit and sense of community within the village.
