Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Charlie the Cockatoo!

During this challenging time, it is more important than ever that our residents’ mental and physical health are well taken care of. Our volunteers contribute to this and play a key role in enhancing the lives of our residents, clients and families.

To bring joy to our residents, one of our volunteers from RFBI Bathurst Masonic Village paid them a visit. He brought along his friend, Charlie the Cockatoo, who said a cheery hello from outside the Village.

Local radio station, ABC Radio Orange (Central West), picked up on this story and interviewed our very own Seru Zanco, Lifestyle Officer, who says that the visit from Charlie made residents very happy.

If you are interested in joining our team of volunteers and making a difference to the lives of our aged care residents, please contact your local RFBI Village or visit our website at https://rfbi.com.au/how-can-you-help/volunteering/
