Beyond the critical work our team provide within our villages is their commitment to ensuring residents remain active participants and can enjoy their communities.

Our regular bus outings across our villages take residents out into the community for the opportunity to socialise and experience the history and special features of the local area.

It’s an invaluable opportunity for residents to reconnect with familiar locations, experience new ones and enjoy some time outdoors.

Rain or shine, our staff find opportunities for residents to get out and enjoy some time in the community. Just recently staff organised an outing for RFBI Bellingen Masonic Village residents during a drizzly, wet day.

Despite the weather, spirits remained high as the residents took in the sights from the comfort of the bus.

Although they were prevented from stepping outside, the group made the most of the trip by enjoying an ice cream and lively conversations about the beautiful scenery they observed along the way. The outing provided a wonderful opportunity for residents to bond and enjoy a change of environment, all while staying warm and dry inside the bus.

These outings are a cherished part of our activities program.
