RFBI Benhome Masonic Village was buzzing with excitement and the rumble of classic engines as residents, families, staff and visitors came together to celebrate Father’s Day.

The highlight of the morning was a special visit from the Maitland Street Rodders, who proudly displayed six incredible hot rods across the grounds. Each vehicle was beautifully presented and full of character. Residents and guests enjoyed getting up close to the cars, taking photos and chatting with the passionate owners, who generously shared the history and restoration stories behind their prized vehicles.

The hot rod display sparked rich nostalgia across the crowd, with many residents reminiscing about their own first cars, youthful road trips and automotive adventures from years gone by.

Following the outdoor exhibition, everyone gathered in the dining room for a relaxed Father’s Day lunch prepared by our Catering team. Tables were filled with lively conversation, shared laughter and warm smiles as residents and guests continued discussing the cars while honouring the fathers, grandfathers and special men in the community.

Organised by our Leisure & Lifestyle team, the afternoon wrapped up with lucky door prizes and a raffle, adding extra excitement to the celebration.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to the Maitland Street Rodders for their generosity and community spirit in making this Father’s Day one to remember.
