Residents, staff and the local community came together for ANZAC Day this year, with RFBI Masonic Villages hosting special services to honour the courage, sacrifice and mateship of those who have served our nation.

For the RFBI community, ANZAC Day is one of the most significant moments in the calendar. Many of the residents have lived through times of conflict, served in the armed forces themselves or supported loved ones who did. Providing a space for dignified commemoration is a core part of our commitment to our residents’ heritage and wellbeing.

From dawn services to mid-morning commemorations, our villages were filled with the solemn sounds of The Last Post and the proud display of medals. These services offer a vital opportunity for residents to come together, share stories of resilience and pass on the legacy of the ANZAC spirit to the staff and families who join them.

The success of our ANZAC Day commemorations is made possible through our strong ties with local RSL clubs and community organisations. These partnerships ensure that our services are conducted with the respect and tradition they deserve, bridging the gap between the village and the wider community.

As we reflect on the day, we remain deeply grateful to all our veterans for their service.

Lest we forget.
