Arts and crafts, or art therapy, are an important part of our activities across our villages.

Participating in arts and crafts activities can help senior adults communicate better, improve physical health, and alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety. There are also some studies that suggest arts and craft activities may delay the development of memory problems for seniors.

Our Leisure & Lifestyle Team members across our villages love to get creative when it comes to art activities for residents. Recently, staff at RFBI Holt Masonic Village created a fun spring craft activity. The residents and staff created a floral photo frame decorated in paper flowers.

Once completed, the residents took photos in the frame before it was proudly displayed in the village – take a look next time you drop in.
