Today, Friday 7 August, we are proud to celebrate Aged Care Employee Day by shining a spotlight on the heart of RFBI – our extraordinary people.

Across every RFBI community, our teams are coming together to enjoy special morning teas, lunches and celebrations in recognition of the incredible dedication, compassion and professionalism our staff demonstrate every day.

Whether they are providing exceptional care to our residents, preparing nutritious meals, maintaining beautiful gardens and facilities, creating engaging lifestyle programs, or supporting our communities behind the scenes, every member of our team plays an essential role in making RFBI a place our residents are proud to call home.

This year’s celebrations are even more special as we officially announce the nominees and finalists for the annual RFBI Showcase Awards, recognise our dedicated team members reaching significant Years of Service milestones, and celebrate those honoured through the Ageing Australia You Are ACE! Awards.

To our incredible nurses, carers, lifestyle teams, chefs, hospitality staff, maintenance crews, cleaners, administrators and every member of the RFBI family—thank you.

Thank you for your unwavering compassion, your commitment to excellence, and the kindness and warmth you bring to your work each and every day. Your dedication enriches the lives of our residents and their families, and we are grateful for everything you do.

Happy Aged Care Employee Day and thank you for making a difference every day.
