Handmade mittens for the koalas

Sonia Lim 27 Nov 2019

Having heard about the campaign to knit mittens for koalas injured in the bushfires, ladies from RFBI Hawkins Masonic Retirement Village jumped on board and came together to make cute little mittens for the koalas at Port Macquarie Hospital.

Everyone had a lovely time coming together for a good cause. Twice a week, ladies from our retirement living village in Edgeworth meet at Craft Cottage to stay socially active.

Across our retirement villages, RFBI supports our retired residents to develop meaningful connections within the community and enrich their lives. To find out more about our retirement villages, visit https://rfbi.com.au//retirement-villages/
