There was plenty of community spirit, a lot of laughter and a highly successful tally of sausages flipped at Goulburn Bunnings last month as team members rallied together for a special cause.

Volunteers from RFBI Goulburn Masonic Village hosted a lively community barbecue, raising a fantastic total of $1,479.10 after expenses for the RFBI Benevolence Program, which supports critical community services and causes.

A massive thank you goes out to the nine dedicated staff members who gave up their Saturday to volunteer on the tongs. It was a brilliant team effort that highlighted the shared dedication to community enrichment that runs through the village family. The atmosphere was made even more special by several family members of previous residents who swung by to buy a sausage and offer their warm support.

The successful barbecue is part of an ongoing fundraising calendar for the Goulburn community, working alongside popular seasonal raffles which have already raised over $400 this year. The event stands as a wonderful example of what can be achieved with a great crew, good humour and vibrant community spirit.
