Our residents at RFBI Goulburn Masonic Village have been busy preparing for the upcoming Queen’s Birthday in June. Queen Elizabeth will be celebrating her 95th birthday and Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.

NSW is recognising the occasion on 13 June this year. Many of our residents have a deep admiration for the Queen and British royalty, so we wanted to do something fun and creative to get them ready for the big day.

Our Leisure & Lifestyle Officer, Tracy created a fun arts and craft activity for residents to create a picture of the Queen complete with shiny and colourful crown to acknowledge the occasion. To help spark inspiration for the resident’s colour and jewel choice for their artwork, we watched a documentary on the Queen’s jewels and the different crowns she wears.

The final product was impressive from all involved.
