Residents in RFBI Goulburn Masonic Village were recently treated to a captivating demonstration of Hanakuma Ikebana, an ancient Japanese art form that celebrates the beauty and essence of nature. Alex, a skilled Ikebana practitioner, led the demonstration, captivating residents with her expertise and passion for this intricate art.

During the demonstration, residents had the opportunity to witness the meticulous process of Ikebana, which seeks to reveal the essential character and natural perfection of flowers and foliage. Alex’s skilful hands transformed simple blooms into stunning arrangements, eliciting awe and admiration from all who attended.

What made the demonstration truly special was the active involvement of the residents, who eagerly contributed their insights and ideas to the displays. Ikebana became more than just an art form – it became a shared experience that fostered connection and appreciation for the beauty of nature.

Residents were so enamoured with the demonstration that they expressed a desire for Alex to return again in the future. To further enrich the experience, Alex generously left the displays for a couple of days, allowing residents to continue enjoying the beauty and tranquillity they brought to the village.

Thank you Alex for the wonderful experience.
