The NSW Seniors Festival was held recently, with this year’s theme being reconnecting after the struggles we all faced through the COVID-19 pandemic. Bringing people together has been an important step we, as a business, village, team or individuals, have taken to help our older Australians and aged care workers to come out on the other side of the pandemic strong and positive.

NSW Seniors Festival is an important event on our calendar each year. Our RFBI Goulburn Masonic Village Leisure & Lifestyle team decided to do something special for residents to bring them together and encourage reconnection as a community. We took residents to our local Workers Club for a special luncheon, which was hosted for free by both the Goulburn Workers Club and Goulburn Mulwaree Council.

We enjoyed a wonderful roast pork lunch followed by a tasty dessert, all whilst being wooed by multi award winning instrumentalist and vocalist, Joey Fimmano.

Our residents adored the experience and appreciated the opportunity to come together as a group for a nice occasion.
