Residents, visitors, community members and more came together for a heartwarming gathering to raise funds for a cause that gives back to the local community.

RFBI Glen Innes Masonic Village hosted a wonderful spring fundraiser which allowed all to make a contribution to important local causes. The event was dedicated to supporting the RFBI Benevolence Program and Annuity Scheme which provides essential support services to the local community.

The fundraiser, spread across two special occasions—Father’s Day and an open day—saw the community come together in a show of support.

The highlight of the fundraiser was undoubtedly the raffle, which raised an impressive $607 towards the cause. The winners of the big raffle prize on the open day were filled with joy, knowing that their contribution was going towards a cause that touches so many lives.

In addition to the raffle, a delightful bake sale added a sweet touch to the event, raising an additional $183. The delectable treats were lovingly prepared and enjoyed by all, creating moments of pure delight.

The event was not just about fundraising; it was a celebration of togetherness. Performers, a delectable BBQ prepared by the maintenance team and some thoughtful community giving all formed part of an impactful event which we were proud to see so many people be a part of.

Thank you to all for your contribution and care.
