Festive cheer and live music at Holt Christmas in July

The dining room in RFBI Holt Masonic Village was filled with holiday warmth, nostalgic melodies and the mouthwatering aromas of traditional holiday cooking this week as the community celebrated Christmas in July.

The special celebration kicked off with a feast prepared by our Catering team. Residents sat down to a traditional roast dinner featuring tender ham and roast turkey served alongside crispy baked potatoes and a rich, flavourful sauce. The festive meal was thoroughly enjoyed across the room, sparking happy memories of family Christmases past.

Following lunch, the excitement continued with a festive lucky dip competition where many residents won fun prizes, filling the room with smiles and lively chatter.

The afternoon’s entertainment was provided by the popular Ruff and Ready Band who had the crowd singing and clapping along. Their energetic set featured a blend of beloved Christmas carols, classic hits by Elvis Presley and plenty of resident favorites.

The Christmas in July gathering was a resounding success, leaving everyone with bright smiles and cherished memories.
