Warm laughter, sizzling snags and cherished memories filled the patios across RFBI Glen Innes Masonic Village and RFBI Tamworth Masonic Village as communities gathered to celebrate Father’s Day.

At RFBI Tamworth Masonic Village residents, families, friends and staff came together for an exciting morning program. Entertainment was provided by Wendy, the daughter of resident Ruth, who led the room in singing some of the resident’s favourite songs. Residents tested their knowledge during a lively Father’s Day quiz, shared father-themed poetry and took part in a fun guessing competition.

The festivities culminated in a mouthwatering outdoor feast cooked by Maintenance Supervisor Glenn, who took charge of the tongs alongside our Catering team. Everyone sat together to share lunch, exchanging fond stories and reminiscing about the influential father figures in their lives.

Meanwhile at RFBI Glen Innes Masonic Village the fathers were treated to a delicious mid-day celebration of their own. Local team member Kevin fired up the BBQ to cook a special lunch for everyone, providing a relaxed, festive atmosphere where residents could catch up with the special father figures in their lives and enjoy the warm sunshine.

Organised with the support of our Leisure & Lifestyle teams at both locations, the Father’s Day gatherings were a success, leaving residents and their loved ones across both Villages with full hearts and wonderful memories.
