Our staff have a lot of fun in their jobs – they have the opportunity to interact with our residents, play games with them, share jokes, and be involved in fun days like our recent PJ day in Dubbo.

Our staff from RFBI Dubbo Masonic Village wore their favourite sleepwear to work and organised a special morning tea for residents to recognise National Pyjama Day. The day is all about wearing your PJs to work to help raise awareness and funds for children living in foster care. Money raised during the event helps offer learning skills to more than 1,000 children, fund educational resources as well as help provide stable and positive relationships.

To complement the occasion, we organised a special photo presentation to show residents the different styles of PJs from the 1900’s to 2022. Many of the residents commented that they had a particular favourite style or two from over those years.

It was a lot of fun, for a good cause.
