Creativity through colour at Concord
26 Sep 2017Our residents at Concord Community Hostel have created delightful art and floral arrangements as part of the art therapy program run by our talented Leisure and Lifestyle team. The program, called Creativity through Colour, demonstrates that residents can create a lovely piece of work with the right support.
The benefits of art therapy are well documented, helping people improve their mental, emotional, and even physical states. Using a variety of techniques including, everyone was highly engaged, open to suggestions, relaxed and contented.
This program runs for twice a month, and is eagerly anticipated.
