While it’s important to stay informed with reliable information, know that overwhelming yourself with difficult news and headlines can increase stress and anxiety, and lead to unnecessary worry.

Instead, enjoy hobbies that keep you busy, talk to a friend or family member or, if it’s getting too much, speak to a professional about your concerns or anxiety.
