Residents from RFBI Cessnock Masonic Village recently enjoyed an exciting day out cheering for the local Cessnock Goanna’s first grade team, for which RFBI is a sponsor. Staff and volunteers helped to facilitate the outing, which residents haven’t stopped talking about since!

The residents, staff, and volunteers spent a delightful afternoon cheering on the players while enjoying refreshing beverages. The event was a celebration not just of the game but also of the strong ties that connect the village to the larger Cessnock community. In a heartwarming twist of fate, the residents found themselves seated behind one of the signs showcasing our sponsorship—a wonderful reminder of the village’s contribution to the local sports scene.

We are grateful to Cessnock Goanna’s for their hospitality and for allowing the bus to conveniently park to help residents to access the grounds. It was an enjoyable outing for all and residents really got involved in the atmosphere and buzz of the game.

This outing exemplifies the dedication of our staff in RFBI Cessnock Masonic Village in fostering connections, enriching lives, and supporting the community. It was more than just an afternoon of sports; it was a reminder that our staff work hard to facilitate opportunities that contribute to the fabric of a vibrant and caring community as well as enrich the lives of residents in the village. We are thankful for their contribution.
